Provides crisis intervention to individuals as well as education and prevention to schools and community regarding sexual violence.

 

Tuscarawas County Children’s Advocacy Center:

Serves as the coordinating agency in child abuse investigations and intervention services, providing support, services and follow-up to children and families.

 

Toward the Goal Ministries, Inc:

Serves to intentionally invest in people by encouraging and empowering teens and adults in school, community and business through mentoring, coaching and servant leadership training.

 

Tuscarawas County Community Mental Health:

Serves to provide comprehensive quality mental health care, primary care, substance abuse and crisis services to those who are struggling.

Personal & Family Counseling Services:

Serves to provide individual and family counseling, substance abuse treatment, support, advocacy and education. Our focus is on prevention as well as treatment.

 

Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter:

Serves to provide emergency, safe shelter and supportive services for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Education and case management services are also provided on an outpatient basis. A 24-hour hotline is available for victims to access the shelter and other resources:

Serving as a partnership of state and local government, agencies, communities, and families, TCFCFC strives to enhance the well-being of our county’s children and families by building community capacity, coordinating systems and services, and engaging and empowering families.

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio:

Serves as a mentoring program to match caring volunteers, as mentors, with children through community and school-based mentoring.

 

Dover Public Library:

Serves to support life-long learning for those in Dover and throughout the Tuscarawas Valley of all ages and backgrounds by providing information and opportunities for personal enrichment and enjoyment.

 

Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities:

The Mission of TuscBDD is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities through quality services and community partnerships.

Serves to help children, families, and adults achieve and maintain safety, security, and self-sufficiency through programs including public assistance, children’s services, and adoption and foster care.

 

Tuscarawas County Juvenile Court:

Tuscarawas County Health Dept:

Serves the residents of Tuscarawas County in the areas of clinical care, alcohol and addiction, WIC, environmental health, health education and medical records.
